The Dermfix FreeGlow is a cordless LED face mask for personal wellness and cosmetic use. There are no cables to sit tethered to, so you can relax on the sofa, read or work at your desk during a session. It is made from soft, skin-friendly silicone and weighs just 280 g, so it sits comfortably on the face. It uses LEDs only, with no lasers.
Where the Halo is a contact-free panel for the face and body, the FreeGlow is built purely for the face and goes wherever you do.
Wavelengths
Three wavelengths across 288 LED chips, selected in three modes from the handheld remote:
| 460nm | Blue, visible. Surface absorption. |
| 630nm | Red, visible. Absorbed in the epidermis and upper dermis. |
| 850nm | Near-infrared, not visible. Penetrates beyond the dermis. |
The three modes are red + near-infrared, blue + near-infrared, or all three together. Each mode runs at three brightness levels.
Controls
Everything is set from the included handheld remote: light mode, brightness level and session length. Preset timers of 5, 10 or 15 minutes, and the mask switches off at the end of the session. Recommended use is 10 minutes, up to 4 times a week.

FreeGlow or Halo?
The FreeGlow is for the face only: it sits on the skin, needs no stand or socket, and you can move around while you use it. If you prefer a contact-free device, or want to treat the neck, hands or other small areas of the body as well, the Dermfix Halo adds a fourth wavelength (590nm yellow) and works on its integral stand.
